It's Amazing How Life Can Change
Well today I turned down a Vegas trip. I mean even if I could somehow pull it off on a budget, which I know I shouldn't do and I don't like to vacation unless I blow big bucks, it's still pointless. I got 7 days of freedom left and I can't really enjoy myself knowing that I will be incarcerated for a bit or maybe more than a bit haha.
I've learned a few things since my life turned upside down. For one, humans can adapt and get used to anything. Another thing I learned is that there are a lot of people that come around when you're doing well. I'm not hating or anything because I'm the same way. Life is enjoyable when you and your associates/friends don't have to stress about cash.
Last but not least, being broke has taught me that there are some good people in this world. I'm not saying I wasn't aware of this before. Some of the good people in my life I've known forever, some I've just met and started hanging out with. One thing I've noticed that not everybody wants to be around when you're struggling. One day, when life will be good again, I will remember everybody that was there for me...during the bad and the good times.
Gotta turn the negative into positive.
